Text from this PhotoShow:
On the road almost every day, this Gospel for Asia mobile team's job is as grueling as it is fruitful...
The team goes to a village and stays with a local pastor. They join him in ministering in his church, which encourages both the pastor and his congregation.
During the week, the team distributes Bibles, New Testaments and tracts to curious and eager villagers.
While they give out tracts, the team members also spread the word about the film that will be shown later that night.
Working with the pastor, the team reaches far more homes in that week than he could have reached alone.
They also pray for people and share the Gospel. They very often see miraculous healings. Many people choose to receive Jesus as their Savior during visits from the mobile team.
Setting up the equipment to show the film on the life of Jesus involves some old-fashioned manual labor.
Later, the team uses music and skits to draw a crowd.
People wander out in large numbers to see the visitors, hear their message and watch the film.
In some cases, anti-Christian elements can turn violent and oppose the team's message.
Several of these team members have been beaten while passing out literature. Then the local authorities falsely accused them of forcing people to convert to Christianity.
Knowing that they will face opposition, they spend hours in prayer. They pray both for those who oppose their ministry and for those who are receptive.
The openness of so many people to the Gospel drives the team forward.
Their schedule is harsh, but the team serves God with enthusiasm, and He is blessing their work.
