Text from this PhotoShow:

At just 10 years old, Angeline has already suffered the anguish of losing both of her parents. Her mother died from AIDS when Angeline was only four, then her father abandoned her. Angeline was sent to live with her grandmother, then with her aunt and uncle.
They already had two children of their own when they took her in. Today this family of five lives in a small 8 x 8-foot room, which is divided into a living space and kitchen. Angeline's uncle provides for the family on the meager wages he earns as a painter.
Angeline's Aunt Prabavathi loves her deeply, just like one of her own children. Prabavathi is a Christian. She found a way to enroll her niece in a Gospel for Asia-affiliated Bridge of Hope center near their home.
When Angeline first came to the center, she was withdrawn, shy and depressed. After she began attending classes, everyone noticed a change in her demeanor. Angeline had given her heart to Jesus.
Angeline blossomed under the love and kindness of the center staff. Now she is outgoing and is already demonstrating leadership qualities. She helps lead in prayer and is quick to answer questions.
In addition to the Bible study and academics, Angeline enjoys a nutritious meal every time she comes to the Bridge of Hope center. This is a tremendous help to her aunt and uncle, who struggle to provide for the three children.
The Bible lessons she learns at the Bridge of Hope center are reinforced each day in Angeline's home. Her aunt loves the Lord with all her heart. Prayer time is a revered time in their home.
Angeline and her family also worship at a GFA-affiliated church. The fact Angeline is spiritually mature beyond her years becomes apparent when she is at church. She is very attentive to the sermon and fervent in her prayers.
Angeline has been transformed by the love of Christ. She has seen that love played out in the life of her aunt, and at the Bridge of Hope center and her church. Angeline has expressed a desire to serve the Lord when she grows up. Angeline's aunt and the staff at the Bridge of Hope Center are prayerfully guiding Angeline to grow in Christ so she will be prepared to fulfill God's call on her life.
