K.P. Yohannan's Christmas MessageDear Friend of Gospel for Asia, What a joyous time this is as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! Christmas is a time of reflecting on the goodness and grace of our God, who loved us so much that He became Emmanuel—God with us—through the gift of His Son, so that we might know Him and spend eternity with Him. One way we show our love for Him is by giving of ourselves to others. Last year, Gospel for Asia's Gift Catalog made it possible for Christians in the West to send special Christmas gifts to our missionaries and the "Untouchables" (Dalits) they serve. The response was overwhelming. Again this year, we have the opportunity to give, and deeply touch the lives of precious families across South Asia. And remember that while we are giving tangible gifts like animals, sewing machines or even houses, we are also sharing with them the greatest gift of all—the Good News that God loves them and sent His Son that they might have eternal life. I invite you to go through each section of this online catalog. If you have children, you may wish to sit down with them and choose gifts for Dalit families—the poorest of the poor—or for our native missionaries, to help them take the Gospel to those who have never heard. And through our online store (separate shopping cart), you may also send gifts to your friends or family members to encourage them as they walk with the Lord. Thank you for helping share God's love this Christmas with many who may only now be learning of the Baby in the manger who came to give them life.
