Manja's Case Dismissed; Remains in Prison

Many thousands of you have been praying for Manja, for which we are grateful. This morning we learned of a great setback in his case, and he remains in prison.

Just before Manja's case was to be heard before the full bench of the Nepali Supreme Court, an opposing lawyer somehow petitioned some of the judges to completely cancel the case. Three of the judges, including the chief justice, were upset with the petition, but to no avail. The case has been dismissed and will have to be completely restarted.

Some of our GFA brothers and leaders were able to meet with Manja in his cell and give him the news. He was very discouraged until one of them reminded him of the story of Joseph in Genesis 39-41. The brothers wanted us to thank each of you for praying. They ask you to keep persevering in prayer and expect great things from God. They write, "Definitely, we are victorious whether we are in jail or free!" Amen.
