The people of South Asia now have access to literature about Jesus!

A new door of ministry has opened for believers in one area of South Asia. It is a door that will not only lead people to know Him, but will also lead them to a place where they can learn more about Him.

Christian leaders prayed for a long time about the best way to use their literature resources for the Kingdom of God. In His perfect timing, the Lord began to guide them in a new direction, they would place Christian books in local libraries.

With this vision in mind, the leaders began to search out public libraries where these books could be made accessible to the people. After visiting several locations, they spoke with local authorities about their plan. And with official approval, the librarians agreed to include the books in their collection.

The Christian leaders met with the librarians and asked them to inform the public of the life-changing message found in these books. The leaders also requested the library staff to keep a record of the usage of these books in order to follow up in the future.

Overall, the literature was placed in four public libraries, one of which is dedicated to one of the area's largest traditional religious organizations. The books were also placed in several Christian bookstores located in the heart of a busy city.

The leaders are asking for prayer that God will use these books to speak to the hearts of individuals who need to know Him.

  • Pray for the libraries that received the books, and that the literature will speak to the staff. Pray that they will come to know the Lord and will encourage others to read the books.

  • Pray that the Spirit of God will continue to give understanding to those who read the books, and that the readers will come to know Jesus.

  • Please pray for the pastors and missionaries who are a part of this ministry, that God will use them to lead many people to Christ.
