Like any normal 8-year-old girl, Indra wanted to run around and play—if only she could. Indra had been paralyzed from birth. There was no cure in sight.
Then one day when GFA Bible college student Jeevant came to do outreach in Indra’s North Indian village, a miracle happened. During the week, GFA Bible college students undergo intensive training for full-time evangelism among the unreached. They spend their weekends passing out Gospel tracts, going door-to-door with the message of hope in Christ, and praying for people as the Lord leads—putting into practice the training they’ve received. And that day, Jeevant was ministering in Indra’s village.
Jeevant felt love and compassion for this little girl who couldn’t run around with the other children. And as he prayed, the Lord completely healed Indra! Moved by this powerful work of the living God, Indra’s family received Christ.
Today Indra has restored legs to run and play—things she could only dream about before. But the biggest miracle happened in her heart: Now she is a new creation in Christ.
