Before he found Jesus, Rajendra went about life aimlessly. It wasn’t necessarily that he meant to waste his time so much—he just didn’t have a purpose for living.

All that began to change when he learned about Jesus through GFA native missionary Simion. The more he listened to what Simion had to say, the more Rajendra was convinced this God was the real thing. Rajendra realized that unlike the deities worshipped by the people in his village, Jesus was the true and living God. He could respond on a personal level.

Simion was happy to tell the North Indian man how he could know this Jesus. Today, far from being a drifter with no direction, Rajendra has found new meaning for his life. He studies at a GFA home Bible school, preparing for full-time evangelism among the unreached. At the home Bible school, Rajendra and nine other students enjoy personal interaction with a local pastor as he trains them for ministry. Rajendra rejoices in the Savior who has given him hope and a purpose for living.
