Twenty-year-old Simmi in Northeast India knows what it’s like to suffer for serving her Jesus—her own father recently tried to stab her with a knife.
Simmi grew up in a family that believed in many gods. Then she came to know and worship only one God—Jesus—but her family was far from happy and disapproved of her attending church.
When her father attempted to stab her, Simmi made the painful choice to run away from home. She found shelter in a church member’s home and began to meet with a Gospel for Asia pastor for discipleship and ministry training.
Please pray for spiritual, emotional and physical protection for this precious sister. Pray that as her family members watch her life, they will soon want to know the Jesus she follows.
