Valsa hasn’t been a Christian for very long, but she has witnessed God’s power in incredible ways. When she first heard of Christ from Ramesh, a Gospel for Asia-supported missionary, it transformed her life so much that she started serving in his Bridge of Hope center, helping neglected children.
Her work with children at the center, however, was a constant reminder of something she desperately wanted in her own life. She and her husband had been married four years, and they hadn’t been able to have any children. This put her in a very shameful situation in her society.
When Ramesh learned of Valsa’s heartbreak, he began praying for the Lord to do a miracle in her life. In a wonderful answer, the Lord gave Valsa a healthy baby, granting her the desire of her heart.
Ramesh is being used of the Lord to touch many lives like Valsa’s. Another member of his local congregation, a man named Joby, suffered from demonic attacks until the missionary prayed for him, too. Joby also experienced God’s miraculous work in his life, and he was freed from the bondage of evil spirits that plagued him.
Ramesh asks for prayer that the Lord will continue to work through his ministry, and that the testimonies of Valsa, Joby and others like them will bring many people to know His love.
