Lying in his bed, Kumar sighed. For nearly eight years this had been his life. Confined to bed with pain in his spinal cord, the North Indian man had nearly exhausted all possible means to amuse himself. He turned to look at his radio. Maybe, just maybe, there would be something worth listening to.
Turning the dial, he heard a kind voice tell about Jesus, the true and living God. Who is this Jesus? the invalid man wondered. As the broadcaster continued, Kumar found himself wanting to know this God who forgives. He gladly received Christ and was filled with unspeakable joy.
If it hadn’t been for his frail condition, Kumar may not have tuned in to Gospel for Asia’s Athmeeya Yathra broadcast that day. Now he has strong faith that the almighty God will heal his spine. Pray with us for his complete healing, that his family may witness the Lord’s power and put their faith in Jesus.
