It seemed Harun’s leg would never heal. While working one day, he had a bad fall and broke it. Five surgeries later, there was no improvement in the use of his leg. Not only that, but Harun had become addicted to alcohol.
Meanwhile, GFA native missionary Sabu was in the village sharing the hope of Jesus. When he met Harun, he felt love in his heart toward the distressed man. Sabu told him about Jesus and His great love. Then he prayed for Harun, and the Lord completely restored his leg.
Deeply grateful for God’s healing touch, Harun confessed his sins and gave his life to Jesus. Though seeking physical relief through surgery had ended in vain, in Jesus this new believer has found so much more. Harun is a walking testimony of God’s power and His provision of salvation in Christ.
