Family members were filled with deep sorrow as they gathered around the young boy. At the tender age of 11, Sukhden was critically ill and given no hope for survival.
But just at this critical time, GFA native missionary Arjun visited the North Indian village where Sukhden and his parents lived. Arjun was there to share Christ’s hope—and his heart broke to see this young life ravaged by sickness.
Given the opportunity to visit Sukhden’s home, the missionary prayed for the stricken child, and God healed Sukhden completely! Witnessing this miracle, Sukhden and his parents placed their trust in Jesus for salvation.
“Praise the Lord,” Arjun writes of this incident. Pray for Sukhden’s body to grow stronger each day. We can also pray for his family to grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord. May their lives speak of Jesus’ matchless love and power to those around them who are still living in spiritual darkness.
