Dulal went to his knees in prayer. Three hours later, he rose with a fresh vision from God.

A third-year Gospel for Asia Bible college student, Dulal often interceded for the lost. But that day he felt a special burden to pray at length on behalf of souls perishing without the knowledge of Christ. And as he prayed, God showed him something he could do—cover all of Haryana (India) by bicycle, proclaiming the Good News of salvation.

Dulal shared this vision with his classmates and found three companions to join him. Wearing t-shirts imprinted with “God Loves Haryana,” these four young men cycled through the North Indian state over a 26-day period, giving out tracts and covering in prayer the villages they passed.

“We traveled during the night, too,” Dulal relates, “but we never felt tired because God’s presence was very real to us.”

In all, they distributed about 3,500 Gospel tracts. Inspired by their outreach, 15 young people in the villages they visited expressed their desire to join a Bible college so they, too, could serve the Lord full time. And a number of those with whom they shared Christ during their travels gave addresses for follow-up ministry.

One time the team shared the Gospel and prayed for a 56-year-old man with paralysis. Two of the team members spoke to him at his bedside while the others remained outside, praying. To their awe and amazement, the man soon rose up from his bed. The team rejoiced at what God had done as they cried out to Him in prayer.

“Prayer is the success of our ministry,” they expressed.

Dulal’s team would like to continue praying for those they met during the bicycle rally—and they believe that one day these people will place their faith in Christ for salvation.

Give thanks to God for His protection upon these native missionaries. Please pray for ongoing and lasting fruit from the bicycle rally. Pray that each Gospel tract distributed will be read and re-read by people hungry for the truth, that they may find salvation in Jesus. Please pray that the paralytic who experienced God’s healing touch will also experience the hope of His salvation—and spread this hope to those around him.
