Prayer is the most effective weapon against Satan’s attacks.

God had a plan to save souls in a village in Meghalaya, India, through the ministry of a Gospel for Asia Bible college team. Satan had a plan to discourage the team so he could keep his stronghold on the villagers.

At first it seemed that the enemy was getting his way, as the team found themselves in a fruitless situation despite their hard work. However, they responded by praying and fasting for the village, remaining steadfast in their work and trusting God to save the souls.

Two months later, God fulfilled His plan. First, He allowed the GFA team to lead a Bible study in the village. After learning God’s word, 13 people chose to give their lives to Jesus. The next day a film team came to the village and showed a movie about Jesus’ life on earth, and six more people responded to the Gospel message. God even made a way for a church to be raised up in the village.

The GFA students request prayer for the new believers to remain strong in their faith, and for God to continue to use their team to rescue the rest of the villagers from Satan’s grasp.
