Govind often suffered from a splitting headache. He took as many medicines as he could get his hands on—yet nothing helped to ease his pain. His condition seemed hopeless, incurable.
Then he found out about Jesus through a dedicated missionary who came to his village. Govind was happy to hear of this God who ministers to not only physical ailments, but spiritual needs as well. Touched, he put his trust in the Lord Jesus for salvation.
In faith, he began to pray with the missionary for his own healing. He knew if this God could provide eternal salvation—his biggest need—he could also remove his headaches. God honored the faith of this new believer and cured him completely.
Govind is thankful for the missionary who came to his village that day—and for the faith his Savior has given him. Many more in this North Indian village still need to hear about the God who heals and saves. May Govind become a powerful tool in His hands to reach these people.
