This Christmas is special for three families in Andhra Pradesh, India, as they celebrate the gifts they received from the GFA Christmas Gift Catalog. The gifts were tailored to them and were just what they needed to rise above the cycle of abject poverty in which they lived.
When Victor received a female buffalo, it was a godsend to his family. The buffalo provides milk every day, and Victor goes door-to-door selling its milk and the cheese he makes from it. Now the family has a steady income to meet their needs.
In another part of Andhra Pradesh, Kumar received a gift of chickens. The hen regularly lays eggs, and the family sells them to local shops. Thanks to this gift of love, their households are running smoothly, with their basic needs being met.
The goats Sujit and his family received supply them with milk and compost to sell in people’s homes and to those working in the fields. The family’s economic situation is improving because of this provision.
With each gift these families received, there also came a tangible expression of the Savior’s love. Please pray for these precious families, that they will be drawn close to the Savior and each family member will personally embrace and experience His redemptive love.
