Kanaka could hardly take it. Fifteen years of excruciating pain in her stomach was just too much to bear. Through the years she had taken many medications, but none had brought the relief she needed. And the deities she worshipped were cold and unresponsive. Kanaka was losing hope.
Then one day she found out about the living God when a team of GFA missionaries came to her village. The missionaries had compassion on Kanaka and eagerly told her of Jesus and His power to heal. They earnestly prayed for the frail woman. Within a few days, the Lord Jesus had healed her!
Kanaka was overjoyed to experience God’s healing touch. She knew her life would never be the same again: She had to know this God. In awe of His love and power, she received Jesus into her heart.
