Pyari and Malti had been secretly attending a church in Andhra Pradesh, India, without the knowledge of their parents. As they grew in the Lord, experiencing His joy and peace, they had a burden to see their parents come to know Him. The girls often requested the pastor to pray for God to do a miracle that would bring their parents to the Lord.

When their father, Kalidas, discovered that his daughters were going to a church, he opposed them, but they continued to attend and pray for a miracle to take place.

Then the Lord answered their prayers in a way they never imagined….

Kalidas had fallen from a coconut tree, and when he hit the ground, a stick pierced his thigh. Blood began to gush out and the pain was intense. It took quite a while for the bleeding to stop.

The pain was so great that days later he still could not sleep. As Kalidas was lying in bed early one morning, he turned on his radio. He listened to a GFA radio program and God began to work in his heart. He realized that he was a sinner, and if he did not repent he would spend eternity in hell.

That same night, Kalidas prayed and received Jesus into his life. As he lay down to sleep he felt the pain in his leg subside, and he was able to sleep.

Today Kalidas, along with his family, regularly attends church and is growing in the Lord. Please pray that the Lord would continue to bring them closer to Him and that they would be a witness to those around him.
