Many prayers are brought before the Lord, and He answers the requests of His servants in many ways and in His time—each one transforming lives and bringing glory to His name.

Harjeet Chavan’s neighbors didn’t think he’d live for much longer. He was 32 years old, and a sickness left him paralyzed. For seven months he suffered the agony of not being able to move around. When Harjeet’s sickness became too much to bear, his wife walked out on him and their son, leaving Harjeet’s sister to care for them.

The sister took Harjeet to their traditional religion’s priests and doctors in search of a cure, but nothing worked … until a Gospel for Asia-supported missionary came knocking on their door.

When Amir Kadam entered their home, he saw Harjeet lying on his bed without hope. He shared the Gospel message with them and prayed over Harjeet.

A week later, Amir came back to visit and pray with Harjeet again. To his astonishment, Harjeet was up and moving around, fully healed from his paralysis after prayer! Amir praised God for healing Harjeet. Now, Harjeet—and even his neighbors who once thought he was a hopeless case—worship the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Healer.

Without prayer, Harjeet wouldn’t have experienced God’s healing or salvation. Prayer is the heart of everything GFA does, and it’s a national missionary’s most important tool. Through prayer, countless people have experienced healings, deliverance from demonic possession, lives brought forth from barren wombs, provision for needs and a variety of other things.

Six-Month Paralysis
Jameela Yadav also experienced a healing touch after six months of distressful paralysis. Her fellow church members interceded for her, and God healed her completely!

Joint Pain and Nose Bleeds
Odathi Gavde and her mother experienced joint pain and nose bleeds. Doctors were unable to find solutions for their physical ailments, but through constant prayer and by God’s grace, all the pain vanished, and they are now living healthy lives.

Kidney Stones
Kalika Rangan and her son, Idhant, had frequent bouts of kidney stones. This ailment ran in their family, with many of their relatives dying from the sickness. A Gospel for Asia-supported pastor assured them Jesus could do wonderful works in their lives and deliver them from their suffering. For one week, the pastor faithfully prayed and asked the Lord to cure them, and Kalika and her son received healing!

Headaches
Ibha Singh’s head pounded. The headaches just wouldn’t go away. She consulted doctors and went through treatment to rid her of the annoying and unbearable pain, but relief never came.

She sought out a GFA-supported pastor in her village and shared her suffering with him. He told her of Christ’s love and of His healing power—if only she would believe in Him and have faith.

In time, Ibha began to put her trust in the Lord. The pastor and the believers of his church prayed for her, and the Lord granted their request: Ibha no longer has headaches! She now lives with Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Tumor
Elili Sharma had just undergone a major operation because of a stomach tumor when her stitches began to break open. She hurried to receive medical aid, but even after receiving treatment, the pain would not go away.

She was brought to GFA-supported pastor Mahtab for help. Mahtab thought the situation seemed challenging, but he clung to the promises of the Lord and determined to pray for Elili.

Through his continuous and faithful prayers, Elili’s condition improved, and within a week, she experienced healing!

She now testifies of God’s mercy upon her during her time of anguish.
