Jeeten’s kidneys were failing. A high-caste young man in North India, he was looked up to by society and accustomed to getting his way. But none of that could help him now. Though he spent a great amount of money in search of treatment, no medicine could cure him. His serious condition caused him much fear and worry.
It didn’t seem anything could be done—until someone came and prayed for Jeeten. GFA native missionary Benjamin was in Jeeten’s village, telling people about the love of Christ and how they could know Him. One day, Benjamin met the weakened man and lovingly shared about Jesus and His healing power. Then he prayed for Jeeten, and the Lord miraculously healed his kidneys!
Changed by this display of God’s power and love, Jeeten asked Jesus to be his Savior and Lord. Along with his family, Jeeten regularly attends prayer meetings for worship and fellowship with other believers. Pray for steady growth in his Christian walk. Give thanks to God that a man who once feared he would die is living a new life in Christ, rejoicing in His forgiveness and salvation.
