Just a few months after Gospel for Asia-supported pastor Qadir Bhatnagar graduated from Bible college he was already seeing miracles happen in Jesus’ name. Nand Sarin was one of the people who experienced a divine touch from God through Qadir’s ministry.
Nand practiced the common faith of the people in his village, yet his efforts to find healing through these gods and goddesses were futile. He prayed and made sacrifices hoping they would cure him of a three-month-old pain in his stomach and back, but nothing changed.
One day, the sound of sweet music tickled Nand’s ears and intrigued him. He walked toward the melodious voices and stumbled upon a Women’s Fellowship meeting where Qadir was leading the group in worship. At the meeting, he decided he would tell Pastor Qadir about his ailments and ask him to pray to his God for healing.
After Nand shared his suffering with the pastor, Qadir had all the people from the meeting gather and pray for his healing. Once they began praying, the pain Nand felt in his body lifted, and the Lord healed him completely. Through this miracle, he received Jesus as his Savior and has since been attending Sunday services in Pastor Qadir’s church with his family.
Lalana Finds Healing
Lalana Mehra was another one to whom Qadir was able to minister. Lalana was a Christian, but her life didn’t show it. When a rash broke out on her face and no hospital treatment was able to cure it, she remembered one place she could go to find healing: Qadir’s church.
He prayed for her and gave her some oil to apply to her face daily. As the days passed, Lalana noticed the rash slowly disappearing. In time, it completely vanished, and Lalana hosted a worship service in her home to give praise and thanks to Jesus for healing her. Today there is no doubt she belongs to Jesus.
Through these miracles, God’s glory is being revealed, and many others are witnessing His power and His love.
