Gandhik Mehra, Bhaskar Malik and Dhiraj Sarin looked with compassion on Jasum Kapoor as she stood weeping in front of them.
The Gospel for Asia–supported film team members and pastor had just finished showing a movie on the life of Jesus in Jasum’s village. And afterward, this woman had approached them and was sharing her daughter’s frightening condition.
Jasum’s 15-year-old daughter, Panchali, had been lying unconscious for two hours due to a satanic attack. She had tried everything she could think of to wake her daughter, but it was useless.
The three missionaries readily agreed to pray for Panchali. They assured the troubled mother that her daughter would be all right, and they encouraged her to put her faith in Jesus.
They prayed for Panchali, and Jasum watched in amazement as Panchali immediately got up. Jasum joyfully realized her daughter had experienced complete deliverance from the evil spirits that had bound her.
Jasum then asked the team to tell her more about Jesus. Pastor Dhiraj gladly shared the Good News of the hope offered in Christ. Jasum, Panchali and the whole family chose to trust in Christ that day, and they began regularly attending church to worship the Lord.
