His Brother's Keeper - Gospel for Asia

During youth camps, many young people hear how Jesus can change their lives.

Shiwal sat fascinated by what he was hearing at the Gospel for Asia youth camp. His brother Nitesh is a GFA native missionary and had tried to tell him about Jesus before—but somehow, it just had not sunk in the same way. Shiwal raised his hand with many other boys and girls and received Jesus as his Savior.

When Shiwal came to stay with Nitesh for a few months, Nitesh prayed that God would open his brother’s heart to the Gospel. But for a long time, it did not seem possible. Shiwal did not want to listen whenever Nitesh talked about Jesus. He would even go into another room or outside whenever Nitesh and his wife prayed or talked about the Lord. So, Nitesh was surprised that Shiwal even agreed to go to the GFA youth camp held in their area.

When the youth camp ended, Nitesh was amazed. His little brother was not the same person. The teaching on subjects like sin, salvation, forgiveness and the love of God had impacted Shiwal so deeply that he started spending hours with Nitesh studying the Bible and praying. Now, he attends church and prayer meetings with his brother.

Nitesh asks for prayer for all of GFA’s youth camps, that they would be able to reach many more young people like Shiwal. Also pray that each youth who receives Jesus will grow in their faith like Shiwal is doing.

The youth camp where Nitesh’s brother got saved was in Delhi, which is India’s capital city.
