In his first months of being a Christian, Lal has tasted persecution for loving his Savior. When Lal’s family found out about his faith in Jesus, they wanted nothing to do with him. They threw him out of the house.
Lal was able to rent a house to live in. He continues to grow in the Lord and meets regularly with other believers for fellowship. Even the pain of being disowned by his family in the close-knit Asian society is not too much to bear, Lal says. “Compared with what Jesus suffered to save me,” he relates, “whatever I am going through is nothing.”
Today Lal is training for ministry under a GFA missionary. He serves his Lord with a joyous heart. Pray Lal stays close to Jesus, growing daily in grace and knowledge. Your prayers for the salvation of his family will mean so much to Lal.
