A team from Gospel for Asia’s recently treated 143 people at a medical camp in Jammu.
The team set up a tent in a village where two GFA missionaries ministered. The program was started with a word of prayer followed by a short message expressing the love of Jesus.
The camp lasted from 10:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Team members were able to pray, counsel and comfort those suffering from mental illnesses, as well as treat physical problems.
The team told the patients about the love of Jesus and the solutions only He can provide. They then introduced local pastors and invited the patients to attend their prayer meetings.
Please pray for the two missionaries who are working in this sensitive area. Pray for those that experienced the love of Jesus, but have not yet accepted Him as their Savior. Also, pray that the Lord will provide the means to build a church in this particular village.
