Chotelal and his wife just couldn’t seem to get along. One problem or misunderstanding simply led to another, with no resolution in sight.
Hardly able to bear the conflict, Chotelal even had thoughts of taking his own life.
But help was on the way in the form of GFA missionary Amarendra, who was ministering in Chotelal’s central Indian village. Meeting the distraught man, he listened to Chotelal’s sad story with compassion.
“I was then privileged,” Amarendra writes, “to present him with the Good News of Jesus.”
Carefully listening to the Gospel message, Chotelal was touched by its hope—and responded by surrendering his heart and life to Jesus. Where no answer was in sight, Chotelal found comfort in the Lord.
Please pray Chotelal’s wife will be drawn to Jesus through seeing his transformed life. Pray also that the Lord will powerfully intervene and bring restoration to their strained marriage.
