Gospel for Asia-supported missionary Masudan Bekken is facing open hostility toward his ministry. Masudan shares the Gospel message in several villages in South Asia.
In one particular village, he has a fellowship where 78 people gather weekly for worship. These first-generation believers are steadily growing in their faith. In another nearby village, he leads a congregation of 26 believers.
The people in this area are angry about the number who have chosen to turn from their traditional religions and follow Christ. They are accusing Masudan of offering the people bribes or forcing them to change their faith. They commanded him to stop leading the prayer and worship services.
Masudan asks for prayer that he would overcome these hindrances as he continues to share God’s love in this area. He also asks for prayer that the villagers who are coming against him would open their hearts to Christ’s love.
