As was his usual practice, at 9 A.M. Pastor Gautam left his home and set off for a neighboring village to distribute literature and share his testimony.
Pastor Gautam was filled with joy when a villager named Nitya told him he had received Christ through literature he had distributed.
Gautam remembered that day vividly. He had given some children a book by Dr. K.P. Yohannan, You and Your Children. This book encourages parents to raise their children in accordance with godly principles.
The children brought the book home for their parents to read, and that’s how Nitya and his wife came to the Lord.
Gautam was thrilled to know that not only Nitya was saved, but his whole family was saved through the small book he gave to the children.
Now Gautam conducts prayer meetings and Bible studies at Nitya’s house, as well as leading church on Sundays. Please pray that Nitya and his family will continue to grow in their walks with the Lord as they learn about His goodness. Pray they will remain strong in their faith and in doing so, be a witness for Christ in their village.
