Ramjit knelt before his gods and goddesses, desperately pleading for relief. For three years he had been suffering from a painful illness. The money he had invested in medical treatment, the many prayers and sacrifices he had offered to his deities—all had been in vain.
Ramjit began to despair of ever finding a cure. That was before he met the team of GFA missionaries. Hearing of Ramjit’s pitiful condition, the team visited him. With one accord, the native evangelists prayed, and Ramjit experienced God’s healing touch in his body. In gratitude to Jesus for healing his physical pain, Ramjit welcomed Jesus into his heart to fill his spiritual ache as well. He realized he was a sinner in need of salvation and direction.
Happy in his new faith, he wholeheartedly seeks Jesus. For Ramjit, each morning marks a new day with his Healer and Savior.
