Born into a non-Christian family, Buddhalal looked to idols in order to rescue him from confusion and distress. Yet he continually grew up feeling more lost and alone than before.
To add to his confusion, Buddhalal’s father became ill and the medical doctors offered little hope for his worsening condition. Buddhalal desired a miracle, but as time ebbed by he lost any hope that remained.
Mourning was turned to rejoicing, however, when a man came to Buddhalal’s village speaking on the healing power of Jesus Christ. Not only were Buddhalal and his family saved for eternity, but his father was miraculously healed from his illness when the missionary prayed for him.
Buddhalal now serves as an evangelist in Nepal, reaching out to the many lost souls through tract distribution, house prayer fellowships, and churchplanting.
Sometimes Christians in the West feel far removed from the miracles God is performing in Asia, but we are privileged to be able to lift up to the Lord those men and women on the field.
