| Nanji hopes to study at a Bible college. |
Eighteen-year-old Nanji Prasod was enjoying life. He was a talented athlete and brilliant student, had a lot of friends and knew how popular he was. Although his parents were nominal Christians, he had no interest in their faith or their instruction.
Heading toward a self-absorbed life, a motorcycle accident proved to be the turning point for Nanji. He was critically injured in the crash, and his friends rushed him to the hospital. But after examining Nanji, the doctors shook their heads-they didn’t know of anything they could do for him. The doctors told his friends to take Nanji home.
But his friends would not give up so easily. They took Nanji to Turanya Kahn, a believer from a Gospel for Asia-affiliated church who has a prayer center where she ministers to people in need. She welcomed Nanji and prayed for him. Nanji survived, and after a month of care at the prayer center, he was back in good health. He even began walking again.
“Heading toward a self-absorbed life, a motorcycle accident proved to be the turning point for Nanji.”Nanji knew it was the Lord-whom he had earlier rejected-who spared his life. He gave his life to follow Christ while he was at Turanya’s prayer center. Now, Nanji desires to go to Bible college.
Nanji requests prayers for his growth in the Lord and that he will be able to attend Bible college. Also pray for Turanya’s ministry to touch many more lives like Nanji’s.
