Angeline is a bright, hopeful girl. Today the love of Jesus flows from her life. Her simple prayers emanate faith and total trust in Him, and she hopes to become a missionary one day.

But Angeline’s joyful spirit did not stem from an easy life. By the age of five, Angeline had lost both father and mother—her mother died of AIDS, and her father abandoned the family. So with little stability, Angelin was moved from one home to another—first living with her grandmother and then her aunt.

By the grace of God, a Gospel for Asia native missionary shared the Good News with Angeline’s aunt and the rest of the family. The entire family began to attend the nearby church.

In the midst of an extremely difficult childhood, Angeline has found joy in Jesus. She was enrolled in a Gospel for Asia Bridge of Hope center shortly after her aunt came to know the Lord, and today is excelling in her studies.

“Through our Bridge of Hope center, Angeline received Christ into her heart,” a GFA worker said. “She is one of the most intelligent students there. Although she is only in the first grade, she has memorized many Bible verses.”

Please pray that her relationship with Jesus will continue to deepen, and that many more children will find their hope in Christ through Bridge of Hope.
