Children's Day in India is a holiday for celebrating the joys of childhood. But the smiles on these children's faces don't show the battle going on inside their little bodies.
That's why this team of five GFA-supported national missionaries brought the celebration of Children's Day to a center for HIV-positive boys and girls in Delhi, India.
The missionaries demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ for these afflicted children through songs . . .
. . . games . . .
. . . and yummy refreshments!
Some 34 outcast youngsters laughed, played . . . and even danced for joy on their special day, learning that God loves them—and so do His people!
And when missionaries gave out materials to help them learn more about Jesus, no one was left empty-handed!
"The life of every child is sacred," said one of the missionaries that day. "Churches must embrace those who are infected and replace rejection with mercy."
