The Himalayan mountains in Nepal receive heavy snowfall, leaving GFA church members and Bridge of Hope children and staff in need of warm clothing and blankets.
Deep in the Himalayas of western Nepal, 65 men, women and children received warm clothing and shoes this winter. Pastor Bhagwan is one man who will never forget the love and joy that stemmed from these gifts.

Pastor Bhagwan lives in a breathtaking area with green forests and diverse wildlife. But he lives with severely cold temperatures nearly year round. Normally it takes six days to reach this remote village on foot. Gospel for Asia's Compassion Services team made the long trip to provide him and his whole family with warm clothing and blankets.

In a nearby district of Nepal, another man and his family are being blessed by the kindness of GFA's Compassion Services. Bhim Ganapati is a missionary in a remote and inaccessible region where there is not even a road to drive on. A GFA church has been planted in this bitterly cold place.

Bhim was overwhelmed with the kindheartedness shown by GFA Compassion Services when he received winter clothing for his family.

Many men, women and children are in need of warm clothes and blankets for the bitter, cold winter months in Nepal and northern India.
"It's a miracle and beyond my imagination," Bhim stated.

He and his family are now using the jackets, sleeping bags and shoes to stay warm. They will use them for many winters to come.

Several other districts in Nepal are also experiencing the love of Jesus as GFA Compassion Services teams distribute winter clothing this year. Praise the Lord that He uses these tangible means to display His love. Pray the men, women and children who receive these items will continue to pass along the love of Jesus by reaching out to the lost in their villages.
