It was Good Friday, a day not officially recognized in Asia, but students at a Bible college still went into the streets to spread the Good News to local policemen and villagers.
Eighteen students divided into three teams, each with one focus: to share the hope found in Jesus Christ with those who would listen.
Team A consisted of seven students who went house-to-house and found people sitting in shops and waiting for transportation whom they could tell about Jesus Christ and His love for them.
Team B comprised of five others who approached policemen and handed them 33 New Testaments. The policemen happily received the free gifts as the students explored Scripture with them.
The remaining six Team C members attended a worship service at a local church where their leader, Bhadrak Pillai, was able to share his testimony with the congregation. People with tear-stained faces listened attentively as he spoke. His message inspired three women to joyfully come to know their Savior, Jesus Christ!
Over 1,000 Gospel tracts were passed out on Good Friday, and countless more seeds were planted as the students shared the love of Christ with people on the streets. Please pray that those they spoke with would learn more about the Lord and discover a life of hope.
