As a young man, Prabin’s home was anything but peaceful. With a father who was a drunkard, he never knew what the family atmosphere would be like. There was no telling what his father would do or say next.

Prabin’s life felt hopeless, like there was no end in sight to the turmoil he often suffered because of his alcoholic father. Yet one day Prabin found sweet relief—in the person of Jesus Christ. A GFA missionary on evangelistic outreach approached him and tenderly told him of Jesus and His love. Prabin was drawn to this Savior who loved him so dearly that He died a painful death to provide for his salvation.

Seeing himself as a sinner in need of atonement, Prabin received Jesus Christ as his Savior and began attending church with other believers. His heart was filled with the indescribable peace that comes from knowing Jesus.

Now Prabin has a faith to sustain him day by day. Let us pray that the rest of his family, especially his alcoholic father, will soon share this life-giving faith.
