Sarasamma’s husband drank heavily and often beat her. The abuse and hurt were nearly more than she could bear. Yet the Christians she met gave her reason to hope, faith to believe for a change in her husband.
When GFA missionary Julu met Sarasamma, he sympathized with the battered woman and was glad to pray for her situation. And through God’s powerful working, Sarasamma’s husband stopped drinking.
Sarasamma felt sweet relief, and, seeing the transformation in her husband, received Christ and committed her life to Him. Thank God for His mighty works on behalf of lost souls in the Asian subcontinent! Pray that soon Sarasamma’s husband and family will also place their faith in Jesus.
