Recently in Tamil Nadu, India, a Gospel for Asia women’s team witnessed a miracle after they prayed for Bansari, a woman who had lost her husband, leaving her with two small children and no income.
While Bansari’s husband was alive, a neighbor borrowed Rs.7000 ($146) from them. But when repaying the debt after her husband’s death, the man refused to give her any more than Rs.3000 ($62.50). Struggling financially and barely making ends meet, Bansari waited for hope to come.
Then a women’s team came to her village. When they found Bansari, she was crying, and immediately told them of her financial troubles. The team prayed earnestly for her, and days later, a miracle occurred: The neighbor returned to pay back the full amount he owed!
Bansari rejoiced in the Lord’s power to change hearts. Since this miracle, she has been attending a prayer gathering to learn more about this all-powerful God.
Women’s team outreach is extremely effective among women throughout Asia. Thousands of women are waiting to hear the Good News, and while it is culturally difficult for men to witness to women, those in the women’s team outreach have the privilege of delivering the message of salvation to their sisters.
Please pray that the Lord would give this women’s team strength and perseverance to stand firm and be bold. Pray that thousands of women would be saved from these outreach events.
