The Secret Resident

As Kunish prayed for Giri, the demon quickly fled the teenager's body.

Every week, joyful believers scurry to visit a little house in Maharashtra, India. But it wasn't long ago that demons routinely dropped by. In fact, one even lived there.

Giri Bhim, a teenage boy, moved to the house with his family. He seemed normal enough. He had two brothers and a sister, and he even worked a job to help his widowed mother take care of the family. But there was something very different about Giri. He was demon possessed.

At first no one really noticed, but it wasn't long until the demon started attacking Giri, and his body became extremely weak. And worst of all, other demons would enter the house at night, tormenting and horrifying Giri.

In this time of despair, Giri heard about a man whose God was stronger than demons—Gospel for Asia missionary Kunish Kumar. Giri wasted no time and called the missionary to his home.

When Kunish arrived, he called upon the Lord to free Giri from bondage. Unable to withstand the power of Christ, the demon immediately fled from Giri's body.

For the first time in five years, Giri was out from under the oppression of the demon. He gave praise, glory and thanks to God, and decided to faithfully follow Christ. All of his family members gave their lives to Jesus, as well.

Now, Giri, his mother and siblings are the only ones living in their house. There are no demons around! And instead of terrifying demons visiting in the night, Christians come to the home for prayer and worship services led by Kunish.

Giri requests prayer that many more people will come to know the Lord through his incredible testimony.
