Frustrated and desperate, Ganga’s husband and father threw her down on the doorstep of a church at midnight. They had nowhere else to go and no one else to ask for help. The demons attacking Ganga had power beyond any of their attempts to deliver her.
Pastor Amitesh, a Gospel for Asia-supported native missionary, heard something outside his church. Even though it was midnight, he came out to see Ganga lying there, almost unable to breathe. He realized it was demonic attack, and he prayed—and right there, God delivered her.
It was a miracle, and Ganga knew it. She had been experiencing violent attacks for a week, and they had become unbearable very quickly. Seeing God’s instant mercy and power, she chose to follow Him.
But when Ganga’s brothers heard that she was practicing a new faith, they were enraged. They came and destroyed her property and her house. In spite of this huge reaction, Ganga stood firm in her trust in Christ. She is part of Amitesh’s congregation now, praising God for her deliverance.
Please pray for her brothers to understand Jesus’ love for them, and pray that Ganga will be an example of that love to all in her village.
