Annal sat expectantly, waiting to hear news about her brother-in-law, Raja, who was in the government hospital. A member of a church planted by a GFA missionary, Annal had known just what to do when it was discovered that Raja’s intense stomach pains resulted from a large mass in his abdomen. She brought the situation to the church for prayer. As one body, the congregation fasted, trusting God for Raja’s healing.
Now, two weeks later, Raja had been hospitalized for surgery. Annal and his other relatives were anxiously awaiting the outcome. Much to their surprise, Raja soon was able to leave the hospital—without ever having an operation.
The doctors had decided to take another scan before beginning surgery. Where there had clearly been a mass before, they found nothing! The Lord had healed Raja, and it was a testimony to all the doctors. Annal, Raja and their families praise God for His mercy and healing power.
