A radio program changed Jayant’s life. |
When Jayant was a teenager, his parents may have thought he was more likely to end up in jail than in Bible college. He spent all his time with school friends going to bars and getting into trouble. But that was before he heard a GFA Radio broadcast.
When Jayant was changing his radio station one afternoon, looking for the music he liked, he came across a program in his local language. It was a Christian program. Intending to keep searching for his music, he listened to a little bit of the program … then a little more … until the message had totally drawn him in. Deep in his heart, he at last felt convicted about his wayward life that had grieved his parents for so long.
From that single program, Jayant turned his life around. He prayed with the speaker at the end, giving his life to Christ. Then he continued listening to the programs every day, learning more about the Bible and how to follow Christ. In time, Jayant enrolled in a GFA-supported Bible college with the desire to reach those around him who don’t know of God’s love.
Through the incredible change in his life, Jayant’s parents too came to know the Lord personally.
Jayant is still studying at the Bible college, awaiting the day when he will serve as a full-time missionary. Pray for the Lord’s blessing on Jayant’s future ministry and for many more like him to experience change through GFA Radio programs.
