Why should I take a Max Missions Trip?
You should take a Max Missions Trip because you care about the billions who are lost and dying without Jesus. With just a few hours of work, you can change the eternal destination for thousands of people and grow closer to the Lord's heart at the same time. With most everyone all around us living for this temporary world, I challenge you to be different and live like Jesus lived. Jesus said in John 9:4 "As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent me. Night is coming when no one can work." My question for you is "Why not plant a church in Asia?"
How long does a Max Missions Trip take to complete?
Some have completed their trips within a couple weeks, while we generally estimate a trip to take from 4-8 weeks to complete.
How do I raise the support for my missionary? Can I be creative?
We will provide you with all the materials needed to raise the support quickly and easily. Most people so far have sent out support letters to friends and family, and have found that all the support was raised very quickly in that way. Others have had some other ideas as well, and we encourage you to be creative as the Lord leads!
What happens if I don't raise all the support in 2 months?
That's another great thing about the Max Missions Trip! Since you don't actually have to fly out somewhere, you could extend your support raising time if you need extra. Plus any extra or miscellaneous money that you raise can be put towards bibles, tracts, missionary bicycles, etc… (Did you know that $10 can purchase 2,500 tracts in Asia?)
Does 100% of the money go to the mission field?
Yes! Every penny that you send in will go towards your missionary to help him preach the gospel.
What real difference is made in the world if I take a Max Missions Trip?
Most missionaries plant at least 1 church a year in the unreached lands of Asia! Imagine being responsible for helping start a church that will continue to grow and grow until the Lord returns. Imagine how many missionaries, and Christians will come from that church. Imagine the thousands of people who will give their lives to Christ because the missionary you partnered your life with is preaching all day, every day, for a year!
Do I have to travel anywhere?
No. You can complete this entire trip from your house if you would like to.
Can we take a Max Missions Trip as a group?
Yes. Taking a Max Missions Trip is a great way to unify a group, as well as really helping the group to have a lasting eternal impact. As a bible study, youth group, or Christian group of any kind, you can do a fund raiser or two, and put a native missionary on the field. Some groups may even desire to support more than one missionary, which is encouraged as well.
How old do you have to be to take a Max Missions Trip?
There are no age brackets for this trip. If you would like to plant a church in Asia next month, please let us know. We would love to help you.
Can I communicate with my missionary through emails or letters?
We don't have any communication set up between you and the missionaries that you support because of safety issues. It is unsafe for a missionary to be found in contact with foreigners, especially from the west. Also, with missionaries working in such remote areas, it would be very difficult to contact them.
Will I receive any update letters from my missionary about how his ministry is going?
Yes. We will send you update letters as we receive them and you can make copies to send to those who helped support your missionary. Our goal is to send you at least 2 updates a year.
