Ruben had left his home long enough to be trained in a bible college. In school he learned to share the Good News with the unreached people in his village. Now Ruben is a GFA-supported missionary, one of more than 16,000 missionaries ministering to people in Asia.
Like many other national missionaries, Ruben started a church his first year on the mission field. The Jesus he shared about was not presented through the veil of a foreign culture, but from someone who understands the unique customs and traditions – traditions that are his own.
