Pastor Encouraged by Bicycle

Pastor Immanuel remembers the nights when his legs would ache from miles of walking. But today, Immanuel feels no more pain and now has more energy to carry out his ministry—thanks to God's provision of a sturdy bicycle.

"Now I can regularly visit believers, conduct Bible studies and do outreach work with no problem," he shares.

Because Immanuel lives in a remote area of Jammu and Kashmir, India, where public transportation is limited, his bicycle helps him travel where he needs to go for such outreach. He rides it an average of four hours daily.

When Immanuel recently set up an outdoor screening of a movie on the life of Jesus, he was able to visit many homes in surrounding villages to invite families to come and watch. It gave him great joy that he could take the Good News to more people in this way. He was also able to transport his film projector more easily than he could have on foot.

"I thank the Lord for providing me with this bicycle," Immanuel says.

This gift, a source of great blessing and encouragement for this young pastor, was provided through the caring support of a GFA friend on the other side of the world.
