In this remote area of southern, India transportation is limited.
It is to this rugged terrain that God called Raji, a Gospel for Asia native missionary, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Raji received this bike when he graduated from Bible college 10 years ago, and it enables him to travel more easily over the rutted roads to surrounding villages.
Most bikes only last two or three years, but Raji's has made it ten. With the nearest bike repair shop being over 15 miles (24 km) away, Raji has become adept at "rigging" his bike.
Without a bike, Raji can walk to only one village a day-those nearest his home. But with his bike, he can travel about 40 miles (64 km) a day.
With the help of his bike, Raji has started several mission stations in addition to his church. But there are still many villages that he has yet to reach with the Good News . . . only a bike ride away.
