Pastor Taran used to walk everywhere and could only reach one village in a day, two if they were close together.
A few months ago, he received a brand new motorbike. "This is God's gift to me!" this energetic missionary said.
This new motorbike has accelerated his ministry at least four fold.
Now Taran is able to visit four or five villages each day! (And the motorbike provides family transportation as well!)
Because Pastor Taran values his motorbike as a blessing, he keeps it meticulously clean and well maintained.
The motorbike's 125cc engine is fuel efficient and is able to carry heavy loads up the steep mountain roads.
It comes in especially handy when he works on cleaning wells in the upcountry of Sri Lanka, the mountainous central part of the country, as part of his ministry.
The elevations in his area vary by over 4,000 feet.
Because of his motorbike, Pastor Taran is now able to reach remote villages, like this one, and bring the lost a hope they've never known before!
