Text from this PhotoShow:
Several months after being forced to leave his mission field in Bantapur village, Gospel for Asia missionary Jairam Mahara is going back to visit the believers and the place where he poured out his life.
It is the first time he is returning to the village—but just for the day, to avoid further trouble for the Christians there.
Jairam points out the house where he and his wife lived during their ministry days in Bantapur. They were forced to leave because anti-Christians were targeting believers in the village in an effort to discourage Jairam.
Jairam meets with one of the believers. He prays every day for the Christians he had to leave behind.
As he walks through the village, Jairam spreads the word for the Christians to meet for a service while he is there.
The congregation reunites to worship with the pastor they love.
This young man is helping lead the church since Jairam left.
Jairam shares from God's Word and encourages the believers to stand firm for Christ.
His burden for the people of Bantapur is still strong, even though he can't be with them anymore.
Jairam continues serving God in another village while remembering the first people who responded to his ministry, the people in Bantapur.
