I did not have much of a formal education owing to my poor family situation. Poverty and hardships constantly struck home and many a time disappointed thoughts haunted my heart as I found no hope for a better tomorrow.

Often I fell sick and received no healing from the medicines I took. Then one day an evangelist happened to come home and he told me to believe in Jesus Christ for my complete healing. The godly man shared in detail from the Word of God, which helped me to realize Jesus to be the way, truth and life. Greatly encouraged, I prayed to Jesus for my healing. The loving God instantaneously made me whole and I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I soon made a public profession of faith.

Before long the Lord enabled me to enroll in a Bible school and helped me realize what He was going to accomplish through me. With a committed heart I joined for a short-term missionary training program.
