I was born June 16, 1980, into a believers' family in India. I have a brother and a younger sister. As a Christian, I attended every Sunday service and offered my prayers to God regularly to be blessed by Him.

But at the age of fourteen, there came a sudden change in my life. My friends introduced me to wicked ways that would displease God. Preferring fellowship with them, I immersed myself in sinful habits and hedonistic pleasures which eventually brought much disgrace upon my parents. Due to this, I was completely rejected by my relatives and society. But by seeing my wicked life, my parents kept on praying and admonishing me but I did not heed their words. As the days rolled by, I lost all my peace of mind and felt sorry for myself.

It was during this time that my pastor visited our house and spent a few hours with me. He invited my attention to the Word of God and started to counsel me. As he did so, the Holy Spirit started speaking to me in an extraordinary way, causing the words of pastor to come alive to me. That day, I approached the throne of grace with tears, repenting of my sinful ways and received Jesus into my heart, finding in Him the joy and peace which the world can not offer. Later, I obeyed the command of Jesus concerning making a public profession of my faith, and my heart was overwhelmed with divine joy and peace.

As I drew closer to God's presence and sought His will for my life, He began guiding and directing my path. One day while I was seeking God in prayer, the Lord revealed His plans for my life, asking me to follow Him as His disciple, to make known His unfailing love to the perishing world. Obeying His summons, I surrendered my life at His feet to be a proclaimer of His unchanging Word to the world. Thus, I joined a Bible school for the learning of God's Word.
